JOSH HOZHERI’S BIG GOSPEL NIGHT

- Trust Khosa

MUSIC promoter, Josh Hozheri, says he has decided to start the 2024 season with a gospel show as a way of appreciating God’s mercy.

He revealed that he has always enjoyed cordial relations with gospel artists.

On Saturday, he will host Michael Mahendere, Kudzie Nyakudya and Bethen Pasinawako at Christ Embassy Church in Belvedere.

Dubbed “Fundraising for Completion of God’s House”, the event is powered by 105 Promotions.

“I decided to restart the year and music promotion on a gospel note because God is greater than all and these doors can only be opened by God,” he said.

He told H-Metro that he has always hosted gospel artists although many know him for promoting secular musicians.

“I have done the Charambas, Fungisai, Baba Manyeruke and quite several other gospel artists.

“On other shows, I would be engaged as a consultant.”

He added:

“I have a rich polished history of music promotion generally.

“Besides, music is music and gospel is just a message.

“Gospel music, dancehall and sungura have huge followings.”

Unlike other events, said Hozheri, the Saturday show is special since it is being organised for a worthy cause.

“This concert is aimed at raising money to build God’s house so I have to be part of such good initiatives.

“The appeal of gospel music has always been there and rising every day because of the message.

“Mahendere has been doing great and his demand is on the rise.

“As such, early bird tickets are going for US$10, ordinary US$20, VIP US$50 VVIP US$100 at Med Orange pharmacies.”

The show starts at 2pm till late.
