SHARPE LIVES IN THE FUTURE

AWARD-WINNING luxury real estate developer and philanthro­pist, Mr Ken Sharpe, is a man of the future whose dream is already in 2050 and beyond.

Mr Sharpe bagged the Zimbabwe Community Trailblaze­rs “Distinguis­hed Businessma­n” award.

During the ceremony, Mr Sharpe was given a brief slot to give a motivation­al speech and indulged the audience with his “Man Of The Future” vision.

“I often say I am not building the Zimbabwe of today, I am a man of the future. I alive in 2050 and see it every day.

“That’s why I am not concerned about today or tomorrow or even 10 or 20 or 30 years from now.

“I am looking at Zimbabwe in 50 years’ time and beyond. I am very confident of that Zimbabwe,” he said.

Although his real estate business sells and develops luxury lifestyle properties, Mr Sharpe says his business amounts to selling hope for a better and brighter Zimbabwe.

Mr Sharpe believes in team work.

“However to achieve that goal of supportive communitie­s we need to stand together as one nation, one people driven by the same goal to leave a better Zimbabwe for future generation­s.”

WestProp Holdings is developing a number of live, work, shop and play luxury lifestyle communitie­s that integrate technology within urban living spaces to enhance liveabilit­y and safety.

The luxury estates that come with social amenities and shopping malls include Pomona City dubbed a “City Within A City”, Millennium Park, which encompasse­s Millennium Heights, Pokugara and the Mall of Zimbabwe.

The Hills Golf Estate promises to be the best developmen­t in Zimbabwe to date as it comes with a PGA standard gold course, branded hotels and villas, a retirement home and a hospital, among a host of other sporting and social amenities.

The developmen­ts at WestProp have attracted the attention of the global media and property enthusiast­s who now want to be a part of the futuristic developmen­ts.

The United Nations has projected that by 2030, Africa’s urban population will increase by 350 million.

This would in turn would push the continent’s overall population to close to 2.5 billion.
