DJ Fantan says his fan base in Zimbabwe is now ONE MILLION people and he wants to use it to transform himself into a MILLIONAIRE.

His ‘China Chemadzimai’ slot at Mashwede Village every Thursday evening has become a huge hit and is attracting tourists who would have visited the country.

Fantan said he wants to become a millionaire and emulate the success of entrepreneur Wicknell Chivayo.

Fantan urged local DJs to learn from South African DJs who have found a way to use their talent to become millionaires.

“I am hoping to become a millionaire since I am now popular across Zimbabwe and SADC,” he told H-Metro.

“I am one of the best Zimbabwean DJs through the China Chemadzimai slot, which is dedicated to ladies.

“Every Thursday, we have a guest artist from around the world.

“Last Thursday, we had a guest DJ and artist from South Africa called DJ Thembie.

“She said she heard about our China Chemadzimai from down there and came to experience it.”

He added: “I think I have more than one million fans in Zimbabwe because everywhere I play locally, it will be packed and considering our population is made up of 16 million people.

“I am popular wherever I go across Zimbabwe and this means my fans are plus one million.

“On my Instagram page, I have more than two hundred thousand followers. I am garnering fans from Ghana, Jamaica, Nigeria, Tanzania and other countries.

“Many Tanzanian artists are saying that I have a huge following there.

“The Zimbabwe music industry is growing globally.”

He said his Thursday slot was attracting huge numbers.

“More than 5 000 fans flock to our China Chemadzimai slot.

“Multi-racial crowds are now attending with tourists being part of the crowd. I encourage men to allow their partners, sisters or mothers to be outgoing.

“If we don’t allow them to be outgoing, they will find other means to leave home. Women need to have experiences outdoors.”
