The series features 12 countries from different continents and is a testament to global solidarity in tackling climate change challenges.

These narratives offer insights into adaptation strategies, forest restoration, renewable energy deployment and empowering youth in driving climate action.

This initiative aligns with UNDP’s commitment to galvanise action on climate change ahead of the COP30 climate negotiations scheduled for 2025 in Brazil.

As the world prepares to revisit climate commitments, the series underscores the pivotal role of Nationally Determined Contributions (NDCs) in advancing the objectives of the Paris Agreement.

The Zimbabwe segment of the series spotlights collaborative efforts between the Government, through Ministry of Health and Child Care and UNDP.

As Zimbabwe grapples with the adverse impacts of climate change, highlighted by phenomena like the El Nino effect, collaborative efforts are essential for resilience-building and sustainable development.
