IN response to Civil servants laugh off salary hike, SHAMHU says: Do we really have leaders in this country? If they are there, do they even care? As I see it, there seems to be a leadership vacuum in this country. The socalled new dispensation toppled the late former President Robert Mugabe promising to do better, but the situation on the ground tells a different story. Before this supposed new dispensation, civil servants were earning US$520, a figure they complained about, but still felt they could live with it. Now their salaries are having to be negotiated time and again because their take-home is next to nothing. It’s actually a joke.

IN response to Demolitions leave 10 families stranded in Goromonzi, VOICE says: This is what happens when we have greedy people among us. The local leadership sees new settlements sprouting, but do not act and only react way after people have used their hard-earned monies to build houses, which are then demolished. Why not stop everything at its start? Everything is done haphazardly and it is now affecting the people who acquired residential stands in a proper manner

IN response to Show maturity, Mliswa tells Khupe, CHAMBE says: It is good that Norton MP Temba Mliswa told MDC-T interim leader Thokozani Khupe to respect Parliament processes. He should have also reminded her that she was illegitimate in that august House, a fence post tortoise. She should feel ashamed of clutching onto President Emmerson Mnangagwa’s robes to get into power. She will dance to his tune to eternity, nomatter how embarrassing.

IN response to Democracy faces demise in Zim, SHARK says: Personally, I never expected to see democracy prevailing in our beloved country because the way President Emmerson Mnangagwa took over power does not augur well with democracy. They rolled out military tanks to push the late former President Robert Mugabe out of power. The people were used to support Mnangagwa’s takeover and now he is showing his true colours. The citizens are not even allowed to exercise their democratic right to protest, while corruption is now the order of the day and we are witnessing the worst human rights abuses under his watch.
