IN response to Furore over govt claims of killer doctors,

-

TAFARA MUONI says: COVID-19 pandemic has given government officials a very big lesson. Prior to this virus, they would travel outside the country to receive medical treatment. This came after they presided over the death of the local health delivery system. However, now that borders have been closed, they can no longer travel abroad for medical tourism. COVID-19 is coercing political elites to be treated locally, where the health system is virtually dead. They are now blaming the doctors, yet it is not the doctors Sir (Information secretary Ndavaningi Mangwana), it is the status quo in your health sector, that you neglected.

CLIFF says: Information secretary Ndavaningi Mangwana must know that government officials are “bewitching” and exposing themselves by coming up with regulations that they don’t follow. We all know that they attended a super spreader party on New Year’s eve. It is the ordinary person who has to religiously follow COVID-19 protocols which they disregard with impunity. What happened to practising what you preach or just leading by example? Then Mangwana is quick to point a finger at doctors without evidence despite the sacrifices they are making with inadequate personal protective equipment. Maybe it justifies why they always get treatment abroad. Mangwana should understand that doctors treat and God heals. Doctors won’t stop people from dying. IN response to Zimta calls for

schools opening, FAMBAI says: What the Zimbabwe Teachers Association (Zimta) must understand is that life is more precious that the flimsy reasons they are giving while risk the lives of our children. Life cannot be replaced, therefore, Zimta chief executive Sifiso Ndlovu must stop seeking relevance where it is not necessary. COVID-19 is real and it kills, we no longer want to continue losing more lives.

IN response to Rapper pokes ED, Zanu PF, TAPIRA says: Some things are better not said. We know that South Africa-based Zimbabwean rapper and producer Titus “Mc Tytoh” Marume may dislike Zanu PF, but there are a few positives that the new dispensation has registered since its inception in 2017.
