IN response to Govt ch an ges tack on vaccin ation , PIKIRAYI says: I feel sorry for COVID-19 taskforce national co-ordinator Agnes Mahomva who is always sacrificed for government’s misdeeds. At the weekend, she was quoted as saying all unvaccinated civil servants were supposed to consider themselves “fired”. Now Public Service minister Paul Mavima is singing a different tune. Last year, Mahomva was dropped from the post of Health secretary after a disagreement on matters of principle with her colleagues. She should have refused to join the league of clowns in the first place. Now her CV is being soiled.

IN response to UN en voy itin erary raises red flag, GWIZHIKITI says: The civic society should have known from the word go that it was not going to be afforded a chance to discuss issues with United Nations special rapporteur Alena Douhan. First things first, Douhan is from Belarus, a country which a few years ago signed “mega” deals with President Emmerson Mnangagwa’s government. According to government, Belarus has been instrumental in bringing Zupco buses to Zimbabwe. So I believe her coming is a charade.

IN response to Govt exposed over COVID-19 vaccin es, MBUDAYA says: Government has done well in terms of the COVID-19 vaccination programme, but it is these glitches which make us worry. They seem small, but have a huge bearing on achieving herd immunity. Many people will be hesitant to take the vaccine, thinking by the time they are due for the second jab, it will not be available. Already, Zimbabwe has been battling vaccine hesitancy, what more now when such issues as lack of the second jab start surfacing.

IN response to 16in courtoversex party, MWANANGUNDU says: Whoever told the police to arrest the sex party guests misled them. Anyway, since it’s a matter before the courts, I will reserve my comments until a ruling is made.

NDABANENGI says: I understand many people were arrested at the party, but those 16 were the unlucky ones. What happened to the rest of the group, since it was a full house? Also, we are not being told about a drug peddler who had a sackful of dagga which was reportedly confiscated, but in the docket, it was recorded as 3,5kg. What happened to him? Why was he not taken to court?
