HARARE City coach Joseph “Shabba” Takaringofa (pictured) says he is enjoying the ride in the Ruyamuro Northern Region Soccer League without reading much into his team's fine run lately.

Harare City shot to the top of the log standings at the weekend following a 2-0 win over free-falling Shamva Mine with inform striker Jerry Chipangura once again putting his name on the scoresheet.

Despite noticeable performances which have seen Harare City being touted as contenders for the league title, Takaringofa insists that his side is not concerned about positions, but consistency.

"We are still rebuilding the team after most players left the club following the relegation from the premier league," Takaringofa said.

"We are trying to have consistency and at the same time enjoy this moment. It all comes together through hard work from the players and everyone involved with the club."

Black Mambas are on second position after a 1-0 win over Chinhoyi Stars with Obert “Adebayor” Tafira getting the important goal.

Ngezi Platinum Stars U19 dropped to third position after a 2-0 defeat away to a rejuvenated Karoi United at Chikangwe Stadium.

Ashton Mashoro and Onward Manhembe were on target for the Levison Selous-coached Karoi United.

Come Again registered their second win of the season, beating Concession United 3-1, while PAM FC and Chegutu Pirates settled for a goalless draw. The headline match of the weekend between MWOS and Golden Eagles lived up to the hype as the two teams settled for a 1-1 draw.

MWOS took the lead just a minute into the second half through captain Marshall Kawashu, his third in two matches, before Golden Eagles' man of the moment Albert Nyamutsaka equalised off a brilliantly worked set piece 12 minutes before full time.
