IN response to Zim census figures questionable, PIKIRAYI says: Government must fund all its parastatals and divisions so that they carry out their duties meticulously. The room for mistakes should be negligible. Not even a single ministry has been fully funded in the past months and this hampers planning and execution of tasks.

IN response to Gukurahundi being addressed: ED, NKULULEKO SHALA DUBE says: It cannot be fully addressed without the arrest of the perpetrators.

JABULANI MARUMBI says: If the Gukurahundi issue is to take the whole term of his presidency, how long will he take to address the country’s problems. President Emmerson Mnangagwa has been going to town about the emotive Gukurahundi issue since 2018. He should be serious about it. If he is failing, he should stop rekindling the sad memories of what the Zanu PF regime did to the victims, him included since he was the State Security minister at the time.

MPOFU ZION says: The killers cannot do anything meaningful. They are just trying to brainwash people. It’s all nonsense.

ABS DUBE says: You cannot address the issue with chiefs. The victims’ families are the best to talk to. Chiefs were recently given stateof-the-art cars, hence they will not ask any questions.

FANUEL THULANI SIBANDA

says: Utter nonsense. The problem is that some of these chiefs from Matabeleland love money, hence I suspect they were bribed.

IN response to Japan boosts Zim’s cholera fight, MBONGENI says: The sad part is that government is not willing to support its own health sector. It underfunds the health system and does not show any intention to do so. For too long, it has failed to meet the Abuja Declaration, which it is a signatory to. The declaration states that government must set aside 15% of their total budgets for health. For too long, government has been averaging around 11% and 12%, which is way too low.

IN response to Adolescent pregnancies, maternal deaths worrying, MBUDAYA says: It’s unfortunate that the economy has nosedived, the education sector is also underperforming and the social fabric is fast tearing apart. This has seen an increase in delinquency and a rise in school drop outs by young girls and boys. A whole generation is being lost because of a regime that does not value education and the economy. It will take time to recover from the damage we are already seeing.
