IN response to We feel betrayed: CCC voters, MURAMBATSVINA VTM says: Is a member of Parliament accountable or loyal to the voters who gave him/her the mandate, or to an individual party leader? We need to be loyal to institutions because leaders come and go. These same MPs that resigned will come back under a new party name asking the same voters they betrayed to vote for them. I think we are taking voters for granted.

NKULULEKO SHALA DUBE says: We need to respect Parliament and constituencies more than an individual leader or party.

FRANK CHINEMBIRI says: The members of Parliament are no longer representing people from the opposition side, they are now representing Zanu PF interests.

MDLONGWA says: The opposition dismantled itself, Nelson Chamisa dismantled MDC-T, MDC Alliance and now the Citizens Coalition for Change party. People should not cheer on this madness. No one will listen to him, it will be just a handful of insignificant resignations, business in Senate, Parliament and councils continues to run smoothly.

BISHY DANIEL says: It’s not a matter of loyalty but a matter of reacting to the rot that’s happening in the organisation where the party is being destroyed. Zanu PF is decimating the opposition Citizens Coalition for Change formerly led by Nelson Chamisa and people expected him to just sit and watch, while his hard work is being destroyed? And the MPs who choose to stay, what are they still representing because the cause has since been hijacked by Zanu PF? Who are they representing? They are supposed to proffer alternative ideas for the challenges affecting the people as opposed to what the people are getting from the ruling party. Now that the opposition has been dismantled, what are they still representing if not the interests of Zanu PF?
