Biti, Ncube’s CCC destined for greater heights

- Gugugu Magorira

AFTER the dramatic and suspicious resignation of Nelson Chamisa from the helm of the Citizens Coalition for Change, it became obvious that the elected vice-presidents of the Citizens Coalition for Change (CCC) were then expected to step in and save the sinking ship.

In Chamisa, we are seeing a selfish and power-hungry creature that will continue to hold the electorate to ransom.

His behaviour is becoming suspicious and dangerous and only political fools will continue to look for him in the misty mountains, yet he has never proved to anyone that he is what the doctor ordered for Zimbabwe.

The man is too slippery to be a head of State of this great nation called Zimbabwe.

The decision taken by Tendai Biti and Welshman Ncube to save the ship should be applauded and supported by anyone who genuinely wants a new democratic Zimbabwe.

Those believing in clout leadership should remain at the bus stop waiting for Chamisa to announce his new political project.

We are not too desperate for political leadership.

The Biti and Ncube combination is what we have been expecting after the death of MDC founding leader Morgan Tsvangirai, and not the Chamisa circus.

We have high confidence that the combination of the two will take us to another level.

In our view, the CCC currently led by Ncube is the legitimate one, not the pseudo Chamisa CCC which has been changing colours like a chameleon.

It has been both yellow and blue trying to extort money from government.

Chamisa resigned from CCC and everybody read his letters and we are now wondering why he is worried about Ncube and Biti.

The Promise Mkwananzi, Amos Chibaya, Jameson Timba and Gift Siziba CCC is a dubious project existing for criminal purposes of siphoning political parties funds from government.

We are not going to wait for the Chamisa project; we will move with those who want to move with the people.
