Sky is the limit for Patsika-Chikudza
ZIBUKO Capital would like to congratulate and celebrate our managing director, Elna Nonceba PatsikaChikudza, on being named an Angaza Awards Honouree for 2024.
The Angaza Forum has named her one of the 2024’s top 10 African Women in Banking, Finance and Investment.
Patsika-Chikudza joined Zibuko Capital as a loans officer in November 2017 and was promoted to senior loans officer in July of the following year, advancing in positions in less than a year.
In October 2019, she was promoted to operations manager, a position she held for a year before ascending to managing director in 2020, during which Zibuko Capital saw an increase in revenue from existing clients as well as market share.
This was due to her strategic measures of introducing the Zibuko mobile application and the WhatsApp Chatbot in response to the COVID-19 pandemic.
She currently holds a master in business administration from Midlands State University and a bachelors degree in banking and finance from Bindura University of Science and Education.
She also holds certifications from the Zimbabwe Association of MicroFinance Institutions (ZAMFI) and the Marketers Association of Zimbabwe. She is also certified by the Digital Frontier Institute, holding two certifications in digital identity and digital money.
Patsika-Chikudza is also the 2021 recipient of the Zimbabwe CEOs Network Outstanding Micro-Finance Leader of Reputation award, as well as the Institute of Directors 2021 runner-up for Director of the Year: Young Director of the Year Category.
Zibuko Capital was able to win several ZAMFI awards under her leadership, including Most Digitalised Micro-Finance in 2021, Most Youth Friendly and Women Friendly in 2019, Winner, Most Youth Friendly MFI in 2022 and Runner-up in The Most Women Friendly in 2023.
