Kaindu riled by time-wasting Tsholotsho

Tsholotsho FC ..................................……….. (1) 1 How Mine FC .................................………… (0) 1 HOW Mine coach Kelvin Kaindu had no kind words for Tsholotsho saying their time wasting antics showed great disrespect for paying fans that came for entertainment as his side came from a goal down to force a draw against their neighbours in a Castle Lager Premier Soccer League tie at White City Stadium yesterday.

Kaindu said it was time a way was found to force teams to play fairly as it was ridiculous that a team would bring four match balls to the match and then encourage ball boys to hide three of them behind advertising boards for the better part of the match.

“A team brings only four match balls and then we only play with one because we can’t find the rest which are hidden behind an advert board. Actually there is no law that says a team should only bring four, you can come with as many as you want as long as the game is flowing but again there is no problem with four balls if they are being used effectively,’’ said the frustrated Kaindu.

Tsholotsho were content employing timewasting tactics particularly in the second half as they sought to secure their first half lead that came through a goal from Collins Dhuwa in the 35th minute.

The fourth official had to send off two ball boys who were behind Tsholotsho’s goal area as they evidently never bothered to run for the balls that

were out of play forcing How Mine players to run for the ball.

Tsholotsho were forced to defend deep for the better part of the first half as How Mine laid siege at their goal but the home side struck in the 35th minute when Dhuwa’s rising shot from inside the box was no match for Munyaradzi Diya in between the posts for How Mine.

How Mine fought back firing from all cylinders and they found the equaliser in the 63rd minute when Charles Sibanda’s shot from the left flank was blocked into play by Tsholotsho goalkeeper, Mariyoni Chang and Tsepo Ranthokoane was at hand to net the rebound.
