The big bad wolf

-

MUCH like the European folktale — Little Red riding Hood, where a Big Bad Wolf wants to eat a little girl draped in a red cape, but as fate would have his plans fail at the end of the story and doesn’t get to savour the little girl.

This rumour doesn’t seem to have a happy ending. A little birdie tells Sunday Buzz that there is an alleged Bulawayo married sex-crazed paedophile (who is supposedly in his mid-40s) on the loose and is preying on vulnerable young girls through a project, which he claims to be a church initiative.

The project is said to have been dismissed by the church, which refused to endorse it, as the church is aware of his shenanigans.

In this not so epic version of Little Red Riding hood a little girl has been crying but her cries fall on deaf ears. Also as Sunday Buzz would have it the girl has been emotionally and physically abused to the extent of believing that she is in a relationship with the wolf. And it turns out she is not the only one.

In the European version of Little Red Riding Hood, she managed to outwit the wolf, who had swallowed her grandmother and disguised himself as her, in a bid to eat the girl.

This time around little Red Riding Hood’s tale is different and is actually suffering at the helm of this Big Bad Wolf that beats her senseless and has brainwashed her into believing that he does it out of love.

In some instances the wolf is said to cunningly threaten Little Red Riding Hood telling her that his father is a well-respected security officer. What boggles the mind is that at his age, should he be boasting of that?

In some of Little Red Riding Hood’s nasty encounters with the Big Bad Wolf, she has her cap torn off and is sexually demolished, beaten and threatened.

Little red Riding Hood, perhaps out of all the nasty encounters has even failed to report this issue and doesn’t know who to turn to because of the emotional and physical trauma she has and is still facing. A happy ending in this case is perhaps a dream within a dream.
