WHENENEVER Victoria Falls is mentioned, the first thing to cross one’s mind is the tourist attracting majestic waterfalls, which is the picturesque of the small town, but barely the entertainment side.

If the video Zankaleli produced by Dj Ace Kata and Ras Boom from Victoria Falls is anything to go by then the town might as well declare that they have found a new source of attraction.

Within 24 hours the video, which was a hit within the local community of Victoria Falls managed to get more than 35 000 views on Facebook.

The video became an instant hit, after it was posted by Mandla Calvin Gumbo and posted on instagram by UK based social media sensation Xavier O’fishal Fishatainment.

The sing along music video is about a lad who is deep in love with a ‘gold digger’, but his friend can’t have any of it, as he thinks that his friend is bound to be disappointed by his newly found love.

Ras Boom aka Godwin Ngwenya said that the moment they recorded the single track last

year they knew it was going to be a hit.

“After we worked on the track last year, we knew that it was going to be a hit. After being played on Breeze FM it took the whole Victoria Falls by storm that’s when we decided to make the video for the track,” said Ras Boom.

Considering that there are few outspoken musicians from Victoria Falls, the duo might be into something, as their comic appealing video is also drawing more viewers from the Diaspora.

“Ever since the Video was posted on facebook on Tuesday we have been getting phone

calls from as a far as united Kingdom people asking where they can buy the track. This is a sign that we striked the right social cords with the track,” he said.

As unemployed youths, so far trending with #izankaleli, the duo has many tracks to their name but seem to have hit the right cords with their single track.

But Just Like izeqamabilidi and Trycoon Sheratti and other artiste who became popular overnight and vanished into thin air afterwards it’s only a matter of time before Ras Boom and DJ Ace Kata prove that they are here to stay.
