2 Kings out to prove a point

- Peter Matika Senior Life Reporter

AWARD-WINNING entertainment promotion agency 2 Kings Entertainment is out to prove a point in the showbiz industry, where it seeks to maintain a glowing image in hosting the best shows in the country.

Following the flopped Busy Signal show, held in the city a few weeks ago, which turned into a warzone due to poor organisation, 2 Kings say their upcoming show, pitting South Africa’s Babes Wodumo, dancing queen Sandra Ndebele, Andy Muridzo and Madlela Skhobokhobo will land a lasting mark in the industry.

“We are more prepared to give Zimbabweans a good show, one to remember and one to never forget. We have done it before and will do it for as long as it takes. Not taking any shots at the organisers of the failed Busy Signal show, it was just poorly organised. We on the other hand are out here to correct their mistakes and prove to the public that local is lekker and that they can believe in local promoters,” said Terminator Makoni from 2 Kings.

He said they were prepared to deal with riotous elements and that they had put in place systems to control wild elements if need be.

“We as usual have tight security and will always be on the alert for any unruly people. We want people to be entertained and not have people worried about getting attacked and left scurrying for cover. All I can say that is all is in place our show has been cleared and the main act has been too. Our PA system is excellent, in fact it is the best and those that attend the show will have paid their money’s worth,” said Makoni.

2 Kings have a record of hosting the best shows in the country, which why it is no surprise they have won an award for that.
