Sendekera party in Bulawayo

DUBBED the leading musician in Zimbabwe, Jah Prayzah and South African crowd pullers Mafikizolo are set to wow fans in Bulawayo next month.

The concert has been named Sendekera, the title of Jah Prayzah’s foot stopping collabo with the evergreen Mafikizolo, which topped charts within weeks of its release, early this year.

The star-studded concert will see Jah Prayzah and Mafikizolo share the stage for the first time in Bulawayo despite having already performed together in a packed Harare Internatio­nal Conference Centre in April.

Jah Prayzah’s manager, Keen Mushapaidz­e assured fans a spectacula­r gig.

“Jah Prayzah and Mafikizolo are braced to give Bulawayo fans a thunderous performanc­e,” he said.

Mushapaidz­e added that the concert will be a warm up for Jah Praizer’s Sendekera tour.

“Jah Prayzah will be in Australia for his Sendekera tour in November, the Bulawayo concert will be a perfect send-off for the sensationa­l Zimbabwean superstar,” he said.

Mushapaidz­e thanked fans whose support has seen Jah Prayzah take Southern Africa by storm.

“Jah Prayzah is humbled by the support across Zimbabwe. The people’s massive support has kept him motivated. We expect a massive turnout that will make the concert unforgetta­ble,” he said.

The award winning Musoja, as he is popularly known among fans, named after his signature band uniform of military regalia, will also perform hits like Tsviriyo, Eriza, My Lilly and Watora Mari which will set the much anticipate­d night exuberant.

Global recognised duo, Mafikizolo have been in the music industry for more than a decade, their visit to the City of Kings would be welcomed by warm hands.

The famous duo is expected to crack the stage with their global hits Kwela, Meet Me at the River, Masthokoze, Emlanjeni and Ngihamba Nawe. Their latest hits Kucheza and Love Portion which are already topping the charts in South Africa are expected to cheer up Bulawayo entertainm­ent lovers.
