Beware of dubious employmentagencies

-

ZIMBABWEANS should be urged to love their own country and stop being used by some dubious employment agencies who have already brought untold suffering on many Zimbabwean families after lying to them that there are job opportunities in some European countries.

I still remember some few years ago when some women from both cities and in the rural areas were turned into prostitutes in Saudi Arabia where they had been promised some paying jobs. These fake advertisements were indicating that once a Zimbabwean woman got that job she would be earning up to $2 900 per month and a lot of women responded because on top of that salary accommodation was also being offered for free. Things changed when these women who were close to 100 arrived in the Asian country. They began to realise that they had been duped by the merciless human traffickers.

Our people must remember that not everything that glitters is gold. People in these countries are also suffering and they are looking for employment just like we are here in Africa. So I feel its high time our people should be warned to be on the lookout for these greedy human trafficking syndicates which are masquerading as genuine employment agents. There are also fake scholarships for people to study in those countries but you will discover that such scholarships don’t exist when you get to those countries. Some students were arrested after they were searched at airports where it was discovers that their bags were stashed with banned drugs. If found guilty they can be hanged according to the laws of those countries. It’s better to sell tomatoes in Zimbabwe that suffer in other countries.
