RESULTS! RESULTS! RESULTS! CHOOSING THE RIGHT PATH TO SPEARHEAD YOUR CAREER

-

A-LEVEL Results Day is finally here. After months of nail-biting suspense, the day has arrived. For those of you collecting results, it will be the most nervewrecking day of your academic career. This is perhaps one of the most important moments in a student’s life but it can be difficult to know exactly what to do when you have received your exam results, especially if they didn’t pan out the way you expected.

Results time can be hugely stressful, especially if you haven’t got what you wanted, but, for the vast majority of people, things will work out. Maybe you’ll end up going somewhere you didn’t anticipate going, but, if you go there with enthusiasm, commitment, and an open mind, it could be the best thing you ever did.

Whether you are fresh out of high school or deciding to take a new path, it can be a little daunting trying to figure out where to head with your education. Naturally, you want to get the most out of any education efforts so that you can enter the workforce headstrong, jobready and capable. In an ever-changing and competitive job market, professional courses can in many cases make you more able to accomplish your goals effectively.

For many this will be an exciting time when all the hard work finally comes to fruition, while, for others, the day will take an unexpected twist and they’ll find themselves needing to rethink their plans and make some quick decisions.

With Trust Academy, you can jumpstart your career and eventually get to where you wanted to go initially regardless of your results outcome.

Here’s a helpful guide to help you decide your plan of action in any results day scenario. You received higher grades than expected If you are happy with your results and firm choice of career path then feel free to stick with it. However, if you would like to explore other choices, you may consider going for career guidance. This will help you to make the right choice and to keep hope alive as far as your career is concerned. Trust Academy offers free career guidance. Don’t just say yes to your first offer unless you’re absolutely certain it’s the one for you — it’s fine to ask for time to make your decision. Narrowly missed you grades? If you’re genuinely not happy with where you’ve ended up, or you think options are now open to you which you really didn’t consider before then don’t despair! Do some research but don’t rush into anything. Consider taking supplementary lessons for the subjects you did not manage to pass. Trust academy offers supplementary lessons for both Cambridge and Zimsec and we have flexible timetables. You may consider re-sitting for your examinations in June.

Trust Academy offers professional courses in collaboration with reputable boards that are internationally recognised. These courses may fast track one to university in the event of having failed to acquire suitable points that can secure you a place at university.

Listed below are advantages of taking up a professional course with Trust Academy: 1. Diplomas make you job ready Professional courses give you the opportunity to understand the skills you need while allowing you to put these skills into practice. This will enable you to jump straight into the workforce with all the necessary knowledge and capabilities.

2. Diplomas can significantly less time

University degrees require a minimum three years of full-time study, while diplomas need only two years at the very most. Most diplomas can be completed within a year. The amount of time you spend in schooling will be lessened, allowing you to enter the workforce and reap the benefits sooner. 3. Learning is flexible Most professional courses can be started at any time of the year and it is possible for you to finish a diploma part-time while you work.

4. Diplomas often have less rigid prerequisites

Unlike universities, professional courses are less reliant on Advanced-Level scores, giving you a better chance of being accepted into the course of your choice.

Entering the workforce can be difficult, but with the right qualifications, you’ll be able to easily find a job and utilise your skills. In many cases, a diploma is the best answer.

That being said, Trust Academy allows each and every one of us to chase every possible dream indiscriminately.
