Equitrail Africa pins hopes on growth
ONE of Bulawayo’s growing automotive spare parts dealers, Equitrail Africa is pinning its hopes on the rebounding of the country’s transport sector to consolidate as well as expand its business.
Equitrail Africa administrator Mrs Nosipho Ndlovu said the automotive spare parts venture has set sights on opening another branch in Bulawayo in anticipation of improved business buoyed by the high trajectory growth of the country’s transport sector over the past years as well as Government’s concerted efforts to revive the agricultural and mining sector in its bid to turnaround the country’s economy.
“We are a relatively young and a new company but we have managed to hold our own in this highly competitive automotive sector. Despite the economic challenges being faced in the country, which have seen a number of businesses struggling to stay afloat, we have managed to sustain our operations through supplying parts from a wide range of reputable manufacturers both locally and internationally.
“Our business is poised for growth considering the ever-improving activities on the country’s transport sector, especially the road segment. We commend the efforts being put by Government towards reviving the agricultural and mining sectors from which we draw most of our clients,” said Mrs Ndlovu.
The transport sector facilitates economic activities and access to local, regional and international markets.
Equitrail Africa was established in 2017 and specialises in selling spare parts for trucks, buses, trailers, earthmovers and tractors.
“Despite our few years of existence we have managed to grab a substantial niche market locally and even have a number of clients coming from other towns. We strive for excellence; we only sell genuine spare parts and our parts have warranties and guarantees. As part of our growth strategy we have set sights on opening another branch next year here in Bulawayo while we are also working on creating a good brand to spread our footprints in other cities and towns,” said Mrs Ndlovu.
Last Friday, the company donated foodstuffs to children at Isaiah’s Home of Love Children’s Orphanage as part of its corporate social responsibility mandate.
