ZINARA should just account for the money it is collecting from motorists. It should allocate local authorities what is due to them and once that is done, it’s up to the local authorities to ensure that they put the money to proper use. If they fail then they should be held accountable. — Tawanda Mpofu, Mutare.

*** It is disturbing to hear that economic terrorists are boycotting bond notes. To make matters worse, culprits involved in these shenanigans are foreigners who trespassed into sectors reserved for locals. Let’s hope that the relevant authority will get rid of these con-artists masquerading as foreign investors, otherwise Dr Mangudya and his RBZ team may end up fighting a losing battle. Down with thieves. — Cde Bla Max Boomerang, Harare.

Can’t wait for the showdown with Algeria this Sunday. Go Warriors Go. We can do the impossible in Gabon, inspired by what our neighbours Zambia once did. We have a talented Warriors team that can do the impossible and lift the national flag high in Gabon. Algeria does not play a physical game, neither does Tunisia. We have beaten Algeria before at Afcon. The physical game will be against Senegal. The Warriors should be motivated by self-belief that nothing is impossible at the tournament. Callisto Pasuwa and his boys will do us proud. — Tonderayi Chanakira, Harare.

*** What would make motorists happy is for Zinara to start repairing them under multiple oversight from councils and the Ministry of Local Government. This is certainly not the time for squabbling as time is not on our side. The rains have been hitting us hard and causing the already deteriorated roads to worsen. It is evident that the $1,2 million for road rehabilitation is not enough so more funds must be availed. — Ronald Edzai, Mufakose.
