THE initiative being made by Government to allow civil servants a onceoff $300 withdrawal of their salaries is greatly appreciated. It shows that our Government is people-centred. I appreciate how the move will enhance effective service delivery by minimising the precious working hours lost at banks. — Chairmaine Gwara, Harare.

*** ZANU-PF’S victory against other opposition parties sends a clear message that the revolutionary party is and will always be the biggest political party. It’s clear that even new political parties like ZimPF are wasting their time because ZANU-PF is still rooted in the hearts of the people. We still have faith in President Mugabe’s leadership and the governing party, ZANU-PF. — Felix, Gweru.

Well done Minister Gumbo, toll fees are for development why should one be exempted? Let us develop our country together with everyone contributing. — Tariro Kasere, Marondera.

*** I want to wish Minister Mzembi the best in his quest to land the post of United Nations World Tourism Organisation ( UNWTO) Secretary-General. — Tendekai Moyo, Kambuzuma

*** We appreciate Government efforts to ensure production of raw materials for the manufacturing industry, household and national food security. The initiative of installing irrigation equipment will boost agricultural production. — Innocent Choga, Bindura.
