THANK God Onismor Bhasera survived a car crash. On a related matter, it is interesting to note that Gibson Mahachi is Bhasera’s manager again. Yesterday, he was talking about Mukuruva’s contract with Dynamos. The national team coach is also under Mahachi, so is Teenage Hadebe, Danny Phiri, Lawrence Mhlanga. Who else in the squad is under Mahachi? This Mahachi has an eye for talent as he seems to have a significant number of national team players and coaches under his stable. Or am l missing something? — via e-mail.
*** Zimbabwe has always been on the forefront of restoring the sovereign legitimacy of many African countries — Saharawi Arab Democratic Republic ( SADR) included. Allowing Morocco to take control of SADR is akin to allowing South Africa take control of Lesotho or Swaziland! That should never be allowed. Never, never, Ever! — Cash Talk, Harare.
*** Your story on Police Commissioner-General Augustine Chihuri’s response to police corruption refers. Being fined for a misdemeanour is one thing, but being fined because your car is dirty or having a parcel on the back seat are the things that the public is fed up with. How about a twoman roadblock? Really? See for yourself exactly what is going on. — Doris, Eastlea.
*** Thank you Honourable Joseph Chinotimba for helping track the killer teenage driver. But my question is, how can the owner assign an unlicensed 18-yearold to carry lives? Does the law not say a public transport driver should be 25 years and above? I also fully agree that all police details on the route have a case to answer. Since the perpetrator is now 18 and life was lost, the sentence should be very deterrent. — Chikata, Warren Park.
*** The people who were sold stands on wetlands need to be compensated. If the floods persist it means that they will be continuously living in danger for many years to come. — Farai Mlilo, Belvedere.
