Growing in faith

HAVE you ever taken the time to study the elements that make up the cycle of life, all the things that make our lives easier and more convenient like transport, communication and the food industry?

As you go through the aisles in a supermarket you are met with a vast assortment of different products, all branded and packaged differently.

Depending on individual taste, most of us have become loyal to certain brands. Over time, our daily lives have become so dependent on some specific products that we can’t live without.

Some of these brands have established themselves so well on the market that consumers refer to the product, including the competitor brands, using the particular brand name instead of the product name.

What we often overlook though is the journey of development that the brand goes through, from the time of its invention to the stage where it becomes a global giant that people know by name and cannot live without.

The building and development of a brand takes a lifetime and the same applies with our faith. You start by slowly trusting God with the small things and your faith grows to a point where you realise that you cannot live without God, life without Him is meaningless.

God has a different destiny and calling for each one of us, but our journey of faith is the same. It is a story of progression; we become increasingly dependent on God and He takes centre-stage in every aspect of our lives.
