Kasukuwere, Sandi-Moyo must not go unpunished

-

EDITOR — Zanu-PF national political commissar Cde Saviour Kasukuwere should know the consequences of going against the wishes of grassroots members.

As the commissar, he should be the amplifier conveying the people’s voice, but here he is trying to stifle women in their quest to be heard.

A man who goes against his own jurisdiction needs to be reminded of his duties and what he is supposed to do. If these allegations are true Kasukuwere and his crew should appear in a hearing so that they can explain what they were seeking to achieve sabotaging the wishes of the party’s mothers.

Cde Eunice Sandi-Moyo and Cde Sarah Mahoka have allegedly stolen funds meant for the party.

This is tantamount to trying to cripple the party’s operations, leading to the question “Who are they working for?” Youths are doing a good job in joining their mothers in protest. A wise child should protect their mother in all circumstances. Can’t say I am surprised that Cde Dickson Mafios was involved in the intimidation of women in his province.

He has long been against the party’s one centre of power model and maybe this is the motivation behind his efforts to play a part in creating parallel structures.

His wings need to be clipped, he is treating the whole Mashonaland Central province as his personal project subject to his emotions and thoughts.

Cde Sandi-Moyo’s Press conference in Bulawayo was not enough to convince that she is not part of the divisive cabal.

Her voice was not convincing and her tone sounded like a guilty person. I could be wrong, but the quicker she appears before a disciplinary committee, the better. She was arrogant, accusing all the women from the 10 provinces to be liars.

How can she be the only person who is right against the constituency she represents? Heads should roll, these women seek answers and they should get them. Cde Magumbo, Via e-mail.
