President spot on, Zim is not fragile
EDITOR — President Mugabe’s response on the development argument is on point. Zimbabwe is not fragile! Who defines a country’s fragility and using which yardsticks?
Imperialists always emerge with all these unjust words classifying countries that go against their preferred line of thinking.
Zimbabwe is being targeted because it became the first country in Africa to tackle the land question head-on.
Other countries are skirting around the issue, which is tantamount to spraying deodorant on an unbathed body. Development is fallacious if the majority of the people do not enjoy the fruits of that development.
In South Africa, they are mulling radical transformation of the economy because they can see that there is a resource imbalance in resources held.
If they deal with land redistribution, it won’t be long before they are described as a fragile state.
According to Western-funded think tanks and pseudo analysts, a fragile state is a country that refuses to jump at their command and demands to maintain its sovereignty.
They imposed sanctions on Zimbabwe so that they could enjoy the pleasure of calling the country names.
A bunch of sadist organisations and countries that enjoy ridiculing other countries to promote their hegemony. Zimbabweans should not be concerned about the opinions of such people. Cde James Karwamba, Norton.
