Response to “President’s medical trips explained”

I do not see anything wrong with our leader seeking health services abroad. He is a President; he deserves VVIP treatment in all aspects of life. — @SungeniChaheka. *** Response to “Govt avails $1m fence to Chirisa safari area” Good move by Government of Zimbabwe. We applaud that. — @gerro.

Response to “Civil servants stands deal”

Tenement yards are the way to go for any forward thinking/planning government. Not everyone can own a piece of land in a modern society whose population keeps rising. We will need more land for industrial development and agricultural production whilst most of our urban population should be housed in high rise buildings as is the case in most developed/developing countries. This is a good plan. — Tafamutekwe.

*** Response to “Potraz riled by quality of service”

Hope they are also not forgetting TelOne ADSL services in the thick of things. Their speeds are not consistent with payments made, especially for live streaming. The staff are also very rude if you make follow-ups. — Chaporomoka Chamukwenjere.

*** Response to “Pregnant drug mule ingests cocaine”

South Africans always accuse Zimbabweans of the high crime rate in their country. It’s funny how it turns out they also contribute to crime in Zimbabwe. Shame on you guys for playing the blame game when you also do the same. — Caroline Sibanda. *** Tell Mbalula South Africans are busy smuggling drugs into Zimbabwe, since he said Zimbabweans are thieves in his country. — Billard Takudzwa Gumbanjera.

Response to “Justice Mutambanengwe dies”

RIP comrade. Justice Mutambanengwe served the people of Zimbabwe and was an astute legal mind. I hope that the lawyers and judges who follow in his footsteps are able to also follow his example and offer sound legal counsel to the people of Zimbabwe. — Muza Musasiwa, Harare.

*** Response to “Mzembi on brink of UNWTO victory”

Viva Minister Mzembi. Winning this will definitely put Zimbabwe on the map and will do well for the image of the country. I am sure that he will achieve success. — James Kumire, Harare.

Response to “Slow down, drivers urged”

Yes, our roads were worsened by the heavy rainfall hence resources to repair being limited. We can avoid tyre bursts by reducing speed. If you don’t reduce speed and fly in our roads, you will complain more about our bad roads from hospital or in a mortuary. — Jairos Tapfuma.

*** Response to “Mzembi on brink of UNWTO victory”

I believe Honourable Mzembi will win and bring a positive impact on our fiscus in the long run. In most public discourses both local and international, he has exuded a high level of intellect and we would appreciate it if he joins us in putting Zimbabwe on the map. I therefore wish him good luck in this endeavour.— Lawrence Vhomoti.

*** Response to “President’s medical trips explained”

There is nothing wrong with our President getting medical attention anywhere. Mr Charamba is right to say the name of the doctor cannot be revealed. That is highly confidential information and even myself l wouldn’t tell people my doctors’ names. We should learn from the President when it comes to keeping fit and healthy. He is 93 and still going strong. Medical routine check-ups are the way to go. Young people can also learn from him. Alcohol and drugs are not cool. — Tautona.
