Opposition coalition much ado about nothing

-

EDITOR — It comes as no surprise that the doomed coalition between Joice Mujuru’s National People’s Party and Morgan Tsvangirai’s Movement for Democratic Change is on the verge of breaking up.

These two parties are led by a clueless duo that are a bad mix of a perennial election loser and a bitter political character, who is out to settle a score after being ejected from Zanu-PF for misbehaving.

The coalition made between Mujuru and Tsvangirai in the latter’s lounge, had no blessing from either parties’ structures.

This is why Elias Mudzuri did not appear in any of the signing images. Neither did Thokozani Khupe.

The same applies to NPP’s Siphepha Nkomo, who was not present at these clandestine ceremonies.

As things stand it is a marriage between a party, whose structures do not approve and a party without any structures.

President Mugabe’s prophecy was accurate when he said it is tantamount to an aggregation of zeros which does not amount to anything even after vigorous adding.

They can walk around the country on foot talking to every citizen, but no one will buy their warped idea being sold by a perennial loser and a confused politician.

I can’t wait for 2018 for Zanu-PF to show them how an organised political party operates.
