A: In Durban South Africa as a voice over artiste in 2005 for an initiative called “My Acre of Africa” through the Nelson Mandela Foundation. Q: What would you say most motivates you to do what you do? A: To one day become the voice of

Africa to the world Q: What attracted you to work for

Q: Do you have any key mentors or people who deeply influenced who you are what you believe in and what you’re committed to in your work and life? A: I have always been a big dreamer so my parents have been my greatest influences. I wanted to be a quantity surveyor like my father from whom I learnt the importance of having structure in life and from my mother the encouragement of an entrepreneurial spirit. James Earls Jones is one of my biggest influences vocally and as a broadcaster the late Komla Dumor who presented the Africa Business Report for the BBC. Q: What sets you apart from other

people in the media industry?

A: My Voice Q: What things do you not like to do?

A: I don’t like anything monotonous and having to deal with negative attitudes Q: If you could speak to yourself as a 10-year-old, what would you tell yourself?

A: School isn’t about being educated, it’s about being learned, so don’t just go to school to pass, do it to learn. Q: What do you work toward in your free time?

A: Watching documentaries and spending time with my wife and daughter
