Response to “Prophet gets 28 years for armed robbery”

I feel these judgments are too lenient. Just 28 years for robbing and killing a person? We need to be stern! — @manudhlodhlo.

*** Response to “City loses 65pc treated water to leaks”

The people at Town House will always give excuses when they fail to execute their duties. — @huekasiwulaya.

*** Response to “Chiyangwa outlines Afcon bid”

Chiyangwa is a brave man, all his goals sound outrageous until he achieves them. Watch this space. — @noe112.

Response to “Bosso cry foul over ruling”

Rules and regulations were there before the match we are talking about. The law is not there for Highlanders and Dynamos only. It is for all teams that are affiliated to the PSL. It is unfair to expect the PSL to ignore the rules of the game because it is Highlanders or any other team. Shun hooliganism to avoid these judgments in future. A similar sentence is in the pipeline over the FC Platinum match. Highlanders fans knew they were guilty, that is why they were already fundraising in anticipation of their punishment. — Munhenga Sidwell.

*** Response to “Musona in, Khama out . . . Warriors regroup for Liberia tie”

The technical department must field the best legs available within and outside Zimbabwe in order to get a result from this first assignment of Afcon qualifiers. A weak squad would see us operate from a negative figure right from the onset. This condition could dent our campaign for the second consecutive participation in Africa’s biggest soccer tournament. Zifa are to blame for their failure to add young and energetic foreign legs in stars like Darikwa and Galloway, among others. This would add depth to the squad. — Hata Mthombeni.

If the Highlanders executive are serious in saying champions are not brewed in the boardroom, then they should also know that champions don’t resort to violence. Rules are rules, two matches abandoned within a month should be enough reason for the club’s leadership to do some soul searching. — Tari Marambanyika, Norton.

*** The Proliner Bus Service should provide details of everyone who was in the bus that was involved in the Mvuma accident.

Standard procedure is that when people book a ticket, their details are recorded, including their next of kin and contact information. — Trust Ngalande, Plumtree.

Response to “Bosso cry foul over ruling”

It all starts with the players who have developed an attitude towards referees. After these players charge at match officials, their supporters take over from there and cause all sorts of disorder. It is a well rehearsed strategy and no one in his or her normal senses can be fooled by that.

I think it’s fair that you face the wrath of football disciplinary measures given the chairman’s response where he said “matches should be won in the football pitch and not in the boardroom”.

While they cause all problems, it’s also a sign of disrespect to the authorities who came up with the ruling. If ever he has a feeling that the judgment is not fair, I don’t think he has a good choice of words, rather more of a challenge than it is an appeal. — Ray Mbada.

*** Response to “Govt to clear parastatals debt to Zesa”

Please do the same for everyone so that Zesa can start all over again. We are financially in trouble as private individuals. — Eliah. *** MDC-T must be warned that political violence is not acceptable. Tsvangirai must campaign and interact with voters rather than threaten violence. — Marx.
