Root out corrupt politicians
EDITOR — The unity prevailing in the top echelons of Government and the ruling party, Zanu-PF, against corruption shows the direction in which this country is heading.
Greater things are coming which all at the bottom should emulate and follow.
Successionists and divisionists should follow what the leadership is saying; it’s time to work and deliver what Zimbabweans want and we have a leadership that is able to deliver.
Those pushing other agendas are what we have always called undesirable elements, leaders who are supposed to work, but do not work, leaders who hide behind successionists projects, who merely did not, do not and will never work.
You see leaders like Cde Joseph Chinotimba have never been associated these debates because they work.
The First Lady Amai Mugabe is right! These people are corrupt and can’t face the truth because they did not work, still are not working and will not work. They speak too much, but have little to prove.
In most constituencies MPs have done nothing in five years, not even a borehole or even a market stall and did not expect their terms to end this soon.
Resultantly, they have engaged in corrupt activities which drive them into succession politics.
Hence the call to fight corruption by the First Lady is being applauded.
I believe the probe should start with the Chegutu rural and urban councils which should be investigated for paying huge sums of money to a company that is not only refusing, but continues to refuse to provide services for which they were paid, while communities suffer the consequences of a fraudulent leadership.
