Deuteronomy 1 vs 8; “See, I have given you this land. Go in and take possession of the land the Lord swore he would give to your fathers, to Abraham, Isaac and Jacob, and to their descendants after them.” WHILE driving, I saw a well-maintained farm. As I admired what was going on, it suddenly hit me that as human beings from generation to generation, we have come and gone and we will continue to do so, but the gift of the land remains constant.

In other words, we have been given the privilege of living on earth for a time. Each one of us has a clearly defined time frame, at the end of that time you will leave the scene and someone else will come. Likewise on this farm with its beautiful trees and well-manicured fields that are all in use, a time will come when the current inhabitant will come to the end of his life, another will come and he will also use the land.

God gives enlightenment to each one of us, this enlightenment is the basis of how we do the things that we do. For some the light that He provides is utilised in full, everyday is taken as an opportunity to shine and to make full use of the blessings that they have been given.

To others, the same light comes, but it has absolutely no effect. The individual without the grace of God continues to blindly walk through life.

Ask the Lord to open your eyes to enable you to see more deeply than you do so you can fully utilise the land He has given you. Be Blessed.
