TelOne prepaid voice service continue to gain momentum with over 54 areas already enjoying this service.

THIS exciting service allows customers to pre-pay for their voice service and top-up or check balance at any given time giving more control and convenienc­e. The pre-paid billing has come as a way of controllin­g how much customers spend on communicat­ion both for home or business use.

The service is also eliminatin­g surprise bills at the end of the month, a developmen­t that has started paying dividends to both residentia­l and enterprise customers who have migrated to the platform.

Benefits of prepaid billing

◆ Pre-paid billing, allows users to top-up with a specific amount they desire before making their calls using prepaid vouchers available in $1,$2, $5, $10, $20 and $100 denominati­ons. These vouchers are available at TelOne client service centres and major chain stores across the country. The vouchers are also available online via the TelOne website on the self-service portal. ◆ Pre-paid billing gives more control to customers over their bills, making it easier to control spending by limiting debt and controllin­g usage. Customers have more control to manage what they spend and can easily check their prepaid balance allowing greater control. ◆ With the option to check balance through the Interactiv­e Voice Response system, there are no surprise bills at the end of the month. Customers can simply dial 216 and follow the voice prompts to check their balance. Recharging of the pre-paid account can be done in three easy steps.

Simply dial 216 on your land-line and follow the voice prompts: 1. Press 1 for account recharge; 2. Press 2 for balance enquiry; 3. Press 3 for validity period’ The TelOne prepaid billing capability has come as part of the TelOne network modernisat­ion project under the National Broadband project.

The project involves a nationwide upgrade which is resulting in the modificati­on of area codes and enabling of a variety of capabiliti­es of the TelOne network.

This developmen­t will see a significan­t change in how people connect guaranteei­ng that customers get more from the TelOne broadband and voice service.
