Response to “Controversy mars shoot-out loss against Namibia”

Fair point, but it would be folly to believe that a spot kick, which if retaken, could still have been converted, cost us that game. — @AnxiousMuzavari.

*** Response to “Miss World Zim queen crowned”

Thumbs up to the organisers of Miss World Zim, splendid performance from the girls. — @BekinkosiG.

*** Some guy out there didn’t go to Miss Zim to support his girlfriend because he couldn’t afford. #MissWorldZim2017. —@ biephiri.

Response to “Controversy mars shootout loss against Namibia”

We lost to a team that has no running league for the past year. I call this a disgrace. We simply could have finished it off last week in Namibia. — BMM.

Zimbabweans need to appreciate their natural flora and fauna more. We have a beautiful country that we need to take care of. Avoid pollution, make sure that when we visit different places especially national parks we must keep the areas clean and show respect to the natural life of that place. — Taurai Bvunza, Harare.

*** Good to know that the First Lady Amai Grace Mugabe has healed from her injured leg. I would like to wish her a happy belated birthday and many blessings in life. — Amanda Taruvinga, Mutare.

*** It is sad that so many young people are losing their lives in road traffic accidents. One of the major causes of that is drinking and driving. I hope that we can work as a nation to end this scourge. We need to understand the risk in this culture that we have adopted in Zimbabwe. The police should do something about all those people drinking in car parks at Newlands, Eastlea, Fife Avenue and Montago shops. What sort of example are we setting to the future generation when they see this? Do better Zimbabwe. — George Ushe, Harare.

Response to “ZANU-PF denounces criminal elements”

We always see these branded vehicles and we thought the First Family was aware. — Cde Jairos Tapfuma.

*** Response to “Tsvangirai in panic mode”

ZANU-PF will eat MDC-T for political breakfast in 2018. By political lunchtime, all the smaller parties will be used for the grand lunch. No opposition party will be left for political dessert. — Cde Mzvinavhu.

*** Underdeveloped or developing countries have a hard time maintaining multi party systems, there is so little cake to go round. All the parties angling for the coalition hope that their leader will either get the top job or somewhere thereabout, and MDC will have a difficult time sharing out the top spots while excluding their own. Mujuru has already confirmed her desire and here is Dabengwa castigating Tsvangirai of the same sentiments. No one wants to be Prime Minister or even, say, to head a parastatal like Arda. There is no money to be made there. They all want the top post. — Ras Matopos.
