ZIMBABWE international forward, Prince Dube, has hit the jackpot after impressing for the Warriors at the COSAFA Castle Cup and scoring in the CHAN qualifier against Namibia on Sunday.

Yesterday, SuperSport United confirmed the signing of the Highlanders striker and Bafana Bafana full back Siyabonga Nhlapo from Absa Premiership champions Bidvest Wits.

Nhlapo has spent the past four years with the Clever Boys, including a brief stint with Highlands Park, and now moves on to Matsatsantsa, having signed a threeyear deal.

United confirmed the news on their official Facebook page, with club CEO Stan Matthews saying: “Siya (Nhlapo) is a player whom we have been watching for a few seasons now.

“He has represented Bafana Bafana, having been called up by each of the last three national team coaches (Gordon Igesund, Shakes Mashaba and Stuart Baxter).

“We have watched how well he did at Bidvest Wits, playing a major role in their 3rd and 2nd placed finishes in the 2014/ 15 and 2015/ 16 seasons and with Grant Kekana doing so well in our last few games last season we look forward to the contest for the right back spot.”

Matthews also confirmed the signing of young Zimbabwe international striker Dube from his homeland club Highlanders on a four-year deal.

Matthews said: “Prince is a longer term play for us. He has good technique, pace and skill and can play both centrally and wide.

“He may not be displacing Brockie or Grobler this season, but he has the makings of a top attacking player and we look forward to seeing how Eric progresses with him moving forward.”

Dube will join countrymen Kingston Nkhatha and assistant coach Kaitano Tembo at the Pretoria club.

For Bosso, this could be a mortal blow for their quest to try and win the league championship for the first time since 2006.

Dube has impressed many neutrals with his pace and eye for goal and, for SuperSport United, his acquisition could be some very good business.
