INJUSTICE occurs around us, we witness or experience it in big and small ways. We see things that we can clearly know are wrong, but out of fear we either turn a blind eye or we simply choose to ignore the issues because we lack the courage to confront them.

It’s so easy to go through life hiding and shying away from responsibility. It is so much easier to say “this is not for me, someone more capable will tackle it.” When Moses was asked to take on the mantle of leadership, he gave all sorts of excuses as to why he could not. Despite his perceived weakness, the Lord had chosen him to go forth and lead his people out of bondage.

The Lord calls on people and impresses upon them the burden to bring correction under His guidance. Many fail because they do not recognise

Jeremiah 22 vs 3; “This is what the Lord says: Do what is just and right. Rescue from the hand of the oppressor the one who has been robbed. Do no wrong or violence to the foreigner, the fatherless or the widow, and do not shed innocent blood in this place.”

the distinct calling on their life that is required to fight injustice and restore God’s will.

Regardless of your weaknesses, the Lord is calling on you to do something to address any injustice you may see.

Ask the Lord to give you courage and lead you today as you do something to ensure that you play your part.

Be blessed.
