Some schoolchil­dren go to school without eating. This results in low or no concentrat­ion during lessons because of hunger.

Our Government understand­s this and will not stop the school feeding scheme.

The bird flu that has rocked the nation has resulted in Zimbabwe suffering a great loss of chickens.

All other types of livestock are at risk because they can also be infected. The decision by ZAS is a good one for prevention of further losses. — Gregory Matiza.

Hospitals, especially those in marginalis­ed areas have been having problems of shortages of medicine resulting in patients’ conditions worsening. A lot even lost their lives.

It just shows how Zimbabwe has sophistica­ted medical expertise to provide medical services and techniques taken for granted in developed nations.

What is lacking, however, is Government drive and initiative to prioritise adequate regular resources to renovate, rejuvenate, and provide sufficient modern medication and equipment to all hospitals and clinics in the country to function properly. — Ruzvidzo.
