Response to “Gweru town clerk bitter over mansion”

Occupying a 20-roomed house for residential purposes, especially when the house is not built by personal funds is extravagant.

There are many problems that citizens from different suburbs are facing and have not been resolved by different city councils.

It is better that the town clerk gets accommodated elsewhere and the mansion turns into an income generating project. — Kudakwashe Moyo.

*** Response to “Trucker pleads guilty to killing 31”

Haulage truck drivers have for a long time been known as bullies on the road. This is because they know that their risk of being killed in an accident is slim, unless the accident also involves a big vehicle.

These people need to be cautious on the roads because large numbers are lost whenever an accident that involves haulage trucks occurs. — Tee Cee.

Response to “Man rapes boss’ daughter (8)”

The Press has been reporting about issues of rape or even murder of children. People of this world need to have hearts and not destroy children’s lives.

Most of these times, these cases are results of conflicts among grown-ups. Children do not have to suffer because of that; issues have to be resolved between only the involved parties. — Tendai Mawanza.

*** Response to “CBZ ploughs $50m into farming”

Banks are doing great in investing in projects that bring about national development. Recently, Stanbic poured $89m into mining.

Other companies should emulate the good work that is being done by banks. — Charmaine Takura.

*** Response to “Bid to block Zinara probe backfires”

Those in power tend to abuse the access they have to potential resources.

Zinara is one of the best performers financially and this means that its employees are well catered for, but it is found out that top positions in such companies are the most corrupt.

Government should keep monitoring the goings on in such companies so that those who abuse finances can be dismissed. — Walter Masvingise.

*** Response to “Respect women, First Lady urges youths”

Indeed, women need to be treated with respect. The value of a woman is not to be undermined.

This has to be instilled in everyone’s mind because there are so many negative reports about women and this has to change. — Tariro Mungoshi.
