Response to “Chrome miner says fuel duty free status aboveboard”
They cannot allow the contractor for the dualisation of the Harare-Beitbridge road to bring construction equipment duty free, but they do it for this commercial company? Response to “ZIFA trio for Soccerex convention”
Good that our local football administrators are getting the exposure to acquire more administrative skills by participating in such global conventions like the Soccerex Global Convention in Manchester, England. We hope they are also going to impart the skills and knowledge gained from such conventions to their fellow countrymen who are into football administration when they eventually come back from Europe, all for the good and benefit of Zimbabwean football affairs. — Feliz Zonke.
*** Response to “Jere thanks CAPS fans” A good solid relationship between the players and the fans whether under happy moments or in times of sadness is key for a football club to keep moving forward. We applaud and appreciate the respect shown by the CAPS United faithful despite agonisingly watching their team lose to bitter city rivals in the Harare Derby. Such are the kind of relationships we expect from all other fans not only from the Green half of the city, but across the league. Turning against the players only further demoralise the team. — Fidza.

This is good; it means more maize for the next farming season. This is really positive. — Tariro Chari.
*** Response to “Econet unveils youth empowerment initiative”
This is an opportunity for the youths to better their lives through this initiative as they will learn new skills, earn money and explore their dreams. They should utilise this opportunity to bring development to the communities. — Martha Tarenda.
*** Response to “City rates arrears balloon to $700m
It is public knowledge that residents are boycotting payment of rates for they know that all the funds are being spent on salaries. Therefore, the residents do not want to sponsor the lavish lifestyles being enjoyed by these Harare City executives.
The situation will only change when the Mayor Ben Manyenyeni and his executive put in place a proper cost rationalisation structure that ensures service delivery. We will continue to boycott until 70 percent of the revenue goes towards service delivery. The Mayor should not try to hide behind a finger by laying the blame on residents, yet they are the ones at fault.
