He will reward your good deeds

-

Colossians 3 vs 23-24; “And whatever you do, do it heartily, as to the Lord and not to men, knowing that from the Lord you will receive the reward of the inheritance; for you serve the Lord Christ.” WHILST reading a section of the Bible recently, I was touched by the words of the prophet, who at the end of each chapter laments to God saying, “Lord remember the good that I have done for your people.”

It’s interesting to note that as he performed acts of kindness and mercy, he sought his reward not from the people he had helped, but rather he sought his reward from on high.

We are all called to show kindness to our fellow brothers and sisters, for them to see the Lord in action in our lives through our deeds.

Often times we forget that the Lord sees all that we do and, more importantly, he is heartened by a loving and giving heart.

It is therefore important that the Lord speaks to each one of us and allows His light to permeate through us, to the next person.

Always remember that the Lord can see all the good that you do.

He will not forget your good deeds. You reward will surely come, He sees everything. Be blessed. REFLECTIONS OF A WORK IN PROGRESS ... For more info: Visit our website: www. thefig-tree.org; e-mail us on info@thefig-tree.org; catch us on StarFM, Monday to Friday at 0620hours.
