Righteousness by grace through faith

Romans 3 vs 22-24; “This righteousness is given through faith in Jesus Christ to all who believe. There is no difference between Jew and Gentile, for all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God and all are justified freely by his grace through the redemption that came by Christ Jesus.” WE ARE often left perplexed at what the battle between good and evil is really about, for many it’s a topic that serves to confuse rather than strengthen one’s faith. We are sometimes left wondering and scratching our heads at what Jesus really did for us through his crucifixion and ascension.

Christ came to show that, through the father it is possible to be righteous and to honour the law of God as prescribed to us. We are of the opinion that our ability to be right with him is entirely up to our own capabilities. The reality though is, it is not. Christ, though he was tempted, proved that flesh inspired by the spirit can overcome temptation and be right with the maker in every way possible.

The battle between good and evil centres on which of the two will overcome: the accuser who says the prescriptions of God are harsh, unattainable and incomprehensible, or the father who is saying all who are heavy laden should come to me, for I am a just and merciful God.

Grace is the gift that we have all been given, unmerited favour regardless of what we may have done, that says through me, whatever you have done if you confess and ask, you are forgiven.
