Response to “A dance with the stars” I love this. What I picked is that Mushekwi is not only going to be playing in the super league, but he is also a valuable player to his team. That’s Zimbabwean gold right there. We have legends and we continue to nurture and groom new ones to replace them as they retire. — @wilsonmagaya.

*** Response to “Who wants the return of 2008 anyway?”

No one wants another 2008, but unless we deal with the fundamentals we will have it whether we like or not. — @WillM4.

*** Response to “Natprint wins award” Congratulations. — @taku.

*** Response to “Consumer council slams retailers”

Thank you for intervening on the price hikes. — @rudorwashe.

*** We expect change on the current situation. — @kudzanai.

Responses “Anger as touts harass man to death”

I have always been worried about touts at this particular illegal boarding site. One needs to be a victim of these touts to appreciate how violent these morons can be. And it often happens in the presence of police. Riot police must always be deployed to this terminus. The problem, it’s not lucrative to the police, but I tell you, riot police must permanently be stationed there. — George.

*** The transport sector has to be reformed. All the staff of a bus company must be uniformed and clearly identifiable by name tags. A company carries the financial liability for the misdeeds of the people it employs. The staff of transport companies must not have any physical contact with commuters or their luggage, unless clearly requested by the commuter to assist. Companies should be required to send staff for training. All staff must be trained in customer care. Companies that do not meet the standards of quality customer care must be stopped from operating. It is the duty of Government to monitor customer service in the transport sector. I therefore suggest that they set up a body similar to Potraz in telecoms to monitor the quality of service and adjudicate customer complaints where necessary. The current department of transport issuing permits can be the starting point for this reform. — Punungwe.

Response to “Mokoomba wows fans in Harare”

Mokoomba are the best live act in Zim and they hold their own at international level. — Tafadzwa Gora.

*** Response to “Unregistered kombis flood Zim routes”

Things can be done differently. All kombis should be removed from our roads. Entrepreneurs should merge into organised transport business and Government should lay that framework. We need cheap, reliable and safe transport. Remember the United buses, proper time, ticketing, routing, there was order at the terminus, not these touts. — Gede Think Tank.

*** Response to “Masters Degree: New status symbol”

There is need to encourage entrepreneurship among Zimbabweans. There is need to set up structures that promote creativity and entrepreneurship. — Jemedzo.
