Response to “President calls for serious agric preps” This is the time for farmers to intensify their preparations for the upcoming agricultural season. Timing is one critical factor when it comes to farming and only those who do it right will excel. We recorded good yields last season and we want to keep thriving. — rue25.

*** Response to “Govt orders vendors,

pirate taxis out of CBD” There is a lot of commotion in the city centres caused by illegal activities and it keeps getting worse. Vendors used to locate themselves just by the side of roads, but now they are closing the roads used by vehicles. It is better that order is restored in the cities and that these people operate from elsewhere. — @ranganaizs.

Response to “1 300 schools to

be connected to Internet” Government is doing a great deal by making it easier for students to access the Internet. This will make research and studies easier. Those who cannot afford every textbook required at school can still study and excel in school because of Internet accessibility. Keep up the good work. — Tafadzwa Mashore.

*** Response to “Cyber security

is no trivial matter” Social media has an extremely bad side to it hence it needs constant monitoring. Privacy is invaded, there is bullying, human trafficking, death and fraud are some of the things that can result from technology. It is good that our President decided to create a ministry to guard against these. — Samantha Togarepi.

Response to “Zim loses 1 000kg gold to smuggling” Every effort should be directed towards ensuring maximum transparency, productivity as well as the selling of both mining and agricultural products and produce through official institutions if the country is to fully benefit from its natural resources like land and minerals. Side marketing as well as smuggling of both agricultural and mining products are costing the nation millions of dollars. — Felix Zonke, Harare.

*** Response to “Man steals $3 500 from girlfriend”

People close to you are the ones that do the unimaginable things. Tables are turning and those who used to provide are the ones stealing. Lessons should be learnt from this incident so that cases like this do not befall anyone else. — Mirriam.

*** Response to “President swears in two more ministers” Our President is a man of integrity as he sticks to his word and never tires of doing what takes the nation to a better level. We are honoured to have him as our leader. — Tawanda Ncube.

Response to “CAPS query

abandonment” He is saying the match officials had planned to frustrate CAPS and when fans started throwing missiles, they abandoned the match. That Kusosa guy was fine. We saw him after the game. So in short he is saying it seems there was a plot to oust the only remaining big team in the tournament. — Dinks.

*** Responses to “Get illegal vendors

off the streets: President” I agree that the ruling party must create an environment which promotes investment and job creation. The absence of illegal street money changers brought a good sight to Eastgate Shopping Mall and similar areas. The same as the removal of buses loading along Robert Mugabe Road after Fourth Street, though sadly triggered by the death of the traveller. — Adagio.
