THE Moses Chunga Soccer Academy received a shot in the arm aft er Air Excellent provided them with a branded kit yesterday.

Th e Waterfalls Sports club- based academy, which caters for kids aged between 12 and 20 years, is run by the former Warriors captain.

The branded kit will be a boost to the more than 100 players enrolled at the academy.

Chunga believes his academy will provide the country with special players in two years time.

“Th is is something good for us and this will take us a long way as it helps to boost the youngsters’ confidence in the games we will play.

“There is a lot of potential in the team and the kids are very committed to the sport. We have several good players who I believe, given the opportunity, will do extremely well.

“The academy is an ongoing thing and by the end of this year I will have full control as I have been in a partnership with Vainona High School.

“I am very grateful to Air Excellent for the kind gesture and hope they will not only end supporting soccer but other sports as well,” said Chunga.

Air Excellent marketing consultant, Th andanani Chino, said they saw it suitable to give back to the commu- nity as one of their social corporate responsibilities.

“We are happy to partner the Moses Chunga Soccer Academy which we have faith in and hope that one day they will produce a future star.

‘’ We just thought of giving back to the society and we sourced the soccer kit which includes jerseys and stockings for the team.

‘’ We have a good relationship with Chunga so we used him as a starting point aft er we also did the same for Mabhuza Akarongeka some time back,” said Chino.

Air Excellent executive Brightmore Choga said they will continue to support sport.

“We just sourced the kit which is worth $4 580 and we saw it fit to give one of our friend Chunga,” he said.
