Response to “17 typhoid cases confirmed in Harare”
Lives were lost earlier this year because of typhoid outbreaks which were linked to contaminated food and water. Something has to be done to avoid the same situation happening again. Council and other relevant authorities should ensure people live in safe environments. — @trymore3.
*** Response to “Know your pension rights”
Most people who are on pension entirely rely on their monthly allowances yet they sometimes have a lot of responsibilities. If their rights are explained fully and are upheld, it helps them have a consistent source of money. — @cindy.

Response to “Cane workers get pay rise”
There is surely a need for these people to get increases in their wages. It is usually the lower grades that have labour intensive jobs hence there is need to give a fair appreciation of the role they play. The amount they are earning is far too little compared to what others doing the same job in other countries are earning. Further considerations to increase their wages should be made. — Thabiso Mangena.
*** Response to “RBZ fumes over drug price hikes”
There is need for Government to have direct oversight over prices. Retailers are abusing their desperate customers and this has to stop. We appeal to Government to put control measures to this problem. — Tariro Moyo.

Response to “Two top cops jailed for theft”
There is no single day that passes without reports of police being involved in crimes. This is disappointing and something has to be done to weed out cops-turned-criminals. We do not expect them to behave in that way. — Martin Zivai.
*** Response to “Don’t interfere with input schemes”
It has always been observed that once other parties stop interfering, programmes run smoothly. There is usually confusion and corruption once a lot of people get involved in something supposed to be run by one or a few sponsors. — Sarudzai Mtetwa.
*** Response to “Zimsec: Moving from theory to practice”
This is a positive change that is warmly accepted. If people are truly equipped, they tend to be competitive practically because that’s what industry demands. Our education is one of the best continentally yet we are struggling economically. Once this gap is filled, everything else should fall in place. — Emily Charumbira.
*** Response to “Chitungwiza faces resistance from vendors”
Vendors need to comply with the directive from President regardless of when they started vending. It is better to operate lawfully because that brings with it respect and security. — Thomas.

Response to “Caf president Ahmad set to visit Zim”
This is a great opportunity for Zimbabwe to shine and address all challenges being faced by our soccer players. It also shows that we have potential to thrive because no such figure would want to visit where there is no potential. — Lawrence Dube.
*** Response to “ZEC registers almost 1m on BVR”
Things are going on well, we will get to the projected six million soon, with change of attitude. When ZEC reports on these figures next time they must also give us the age groups of those registering. — Eliah.
