He is preparing you for great things

-

Romans 8 vs 18; “For I consider that the sufferings of this present time are not worthy to be compared with the glory which shall be revealed in us.” HAVE you ever thought that in order for Moses to find grace and be called a prince and a son of the daughter of Pharaoh he had to be hidden, put in a basket made of reeds and left to drift down the river?

We are all faced with those moments when we must go against the grain and against the norm.

During these moments we must humble ourselves and allow life and its circumstances to strip us of some of the things we are accustomed to, in order to be taken to a place of grace.

Our human nature is quick to resist and refuse the process of being led adrift to wander until we get to a place where the LORD can uplift us. Moses met with grace, kindness and upliftment, he was shown love and above all he was made a prince.

His mother must have endured insurmountable pain as she let go of the basket and allowed the fortunes of her child to be entirely in the LORD’s hands.

Let go of the things that you are currently holding on to, drift in faith and see where the LORD will take you.

Like Moses he will take you to a place where your life will be better than the place you have been holding on to. Trust the Lord.

Be blessed.
