Witnessing to others

-

WITNESSING is probably something we can all do in some way or the other, either through deeds or words. We all get opportunities to witness, to stand out and to make a difference.

In most cases we fail in our attempt to reach out because either we are scared or we do not know how to do it.

So at times we wallow in silence, not knowing how we can begin to share our faith. There are times when we can clearly see that the person in front of us needs help, but we just don’t have the confidence to reach out to them and share.

So many souls have been lost because we could not share. When we find ourselves caught up in this web of indecision and fear to witness, we should always be guided by the fact that the body of Christ is made up of so many people who all have a part to play in bringing home the sheaves.

When the little slave girl realised that her master was afflicted with leprosy, though she was far from home, she remembered the GOD of her ancestors and told her master Naaman to go to her homeland and seek out the prophet of GOD.

Naaman sought out the prophet who directed him to the GOD of heaven and he was cured of this dreaded ailment.

When we can’t do it ourselves, let us light a path for those that can. Serving is not only about doing it yourself, but it also involves ensuring that those who need the gospel hear it from the right vessels. Invite someone to church today.

Be blessed.
