Responses to “$29m for new curriculum”

We want a curriculum that is good for our kids, not good for anyone’s spending habits. I thank you. Practical subjects must be the ones with tasks like projects files. Call for a workshop with teachers or even make a survey, teachers will give you proper feedback concerning these tasks. — @Tokwemkosi.

*** I thought the professor was going to bring something better than his predecessor. Why can’t he copy ED who came up with a new approach? The more you punish these teachers with your so called tasks the more our children will suffer. No to that one please. — @Mabukwa.

Responses to “ZEC chair Makarau resigns”

How can one human being hold three well paying Government jobs in a country where unemployment is above 90 percent. She should not stop there, but relinquish the other remaining post. — Fidel Castrol.

*** The resignation of Justice Makarau is a welcome development . . . It would even be more palatable if she can resign from the position of Secretary within the JSC and just remain as a judge. This is one area which the Presidium needs to look at. Let her be confined to her role as a judge of the Supreme Court. We have so many qualified administrators in the country, appoint them to these positions and ensure that judges are only limited to interpreting the law. — Supporter.

Response to “Glamour at Sharuko wedding” Congratulations Mr Sharuko. — Danai.

*** Response to “PURE PLATINUM NIGHT . . . Chinyengetere crowned soccer star . . . Mapeza lifts coach of the year award”

Well done to Chinyengetere, it’s touching how he overcame the injury and Nomara, it is a clean sweep. My vote, however, was on Mutasa for coach of the year, but still Nomara deserves it. — Lot Chitakasha.

*** Responses to “Govt seeks to bring back local currency”

As long as people have confidence in the new dispensation, we should have our own currency. It’s necessary as a medium of exchange, store of value and unit of account. This will enable RBZ to manage Zimbabwe’s monetary policy. What is most important is to assure the nation the currency won’t be subjected to “EGONOMICS”. — @Profmzvinavhu.

*** Like other countries that also suffered hyperinflation in history, we should now trust our government. The policies announced by the government under a new President should give us hope and confidence. — Garikai.

Response to “Zvasiya bares soul” I sympathise with you Lincoln. You have a point there, after playing 25 games it shows you were on the comeback trail. Good man managers work around a player’s weaknesses. Do not understand why your former club thought you could influence a grown up man. I personally thought you had turned around the corner and you were on the way back to where I have always thought you belong. — Nyasha Murombe.

*** Response to “End violence against women and children”

There is no need to be violent about anything. One can still be heard and respected by communicating amicably. — Sharon Mapiye.
