The splendour of His majesty

-

HAVE you ever wondered what the Lord looks like, has that thought ever crossed your mind? Sometimes the thought has brought me fear, outright fear, as I have imagined what He is like, how the world started, and how when all is said and done, His majesty cannot be understood.

The Lord reminded Job when he questioned that “you speak of things you know not of, things too wonderful for one’s mind to comprehend.” In a vision the prophet Isaiah saw the Lord in His throne room with angels abound, singing with such beautiful melodies “holy . . . holy.”

A description is given of one who is surrounded by a radiance, His face veiled in adoration, and the whole earth filled with His glory. Though many will conjure images that some will doubt, the reality is that the Lord sits up above in the holy of holies, seeking to give life to those that have chosen Him and His ways. Our minds cannot possibly fathom this mind-boggling image of the King of this world.

No matter where you find yourself today, just for a moment imagine Him in His glory and majesty. The thought alone should be of such magnitude that whatever you may be dealing with, you can be assured it’s so minute for Him who reigns that if you look to Him and Him alone, He will direct you accordingly.

Think of His majesty today, He is real and He sits above the earth. Picture the image and how amazing it must be.

Be blessed.
