Value what you have

1 CORINTHIANS 6 VS 19 “Or do you not know that your body is the temple of the Holy Spirit who is in you, whom you have from God, and you are not your own?” SOMEONE very close to me had a minor accident the other day, which resulted in them breaking one of their nails. Naturally, the pain associated with the incident caused discomfort, but what we more interesting was that within the course of the day whenever they tried to use the full functionality of that hand, the exercise would be met with pain, thereby rendering the process almost impossible to complete.

Have you ever wondered how the Lord, in His wisdom, created us in such a way that every part of our body, regardless of size, matters? The minute any one of these facets of functionally is impeded, life becomes very difficult.

We often take for granted all the things that the Lord has given us, especially the gift of our bodies. Only when you find yourself in a situation where you lose the ability to fully utilize it, do you realize how God has created perfect order in everything that is in the world. It therefore follows suit that God is a God of order and, even the most minute detail, like a complete finger nail, has a significant impact on how we lead our lives.
